Reserva 2010
A tribute to the Carraovejas Valley
Reserva is a sincere tribute to the Carraovejas Valley and an elaboration that seeks to extol its origin in an outstanding way.
- Varieties: tinto fino (97%) cabernet sauvignon (2%) AND merlot (1%).
- Alcohol by volume: 15%
- Soils: limestone texture with red clays and white loams. Low granulometry and high water retention.
- Altitude: around 850 meters.
- Harvest: manual, in boxes15 kg
Elaboration:
- Aging: 12 months in American and French oak barrels.
- Clarified with natural egg white.
- Bottled in May 2012.
Sensory tasting
- Color: cherry red with cardinal iridescence.
- Aromas: complex nose; black and red fruits, sweet spicy notes and minerals.
- Palate: unctuous, elegant and intense. Due to its intense color and natural elaboration, this wine can precipitate in the bottle.
