Reserva 2003
A tribute to the Carraovejas Valley
Reserva is a sincere tribute to the Carraovejas Valley and an elaboration that seeks to extol its origin in an outstanding way.
- Varieties: tinto fino (90%) and cabernet sauvignon (10%).
- Alcohol by volume: 14%
- Soils: limestone texture with red clays and white loams. Low granulometry and high water retention.
- Altitude: around 850 meters.
- Harvest: manual, in boxes 15 kg.
Elaboration:
- Aging: 12 months in new French oak barrels.
- Clarified with natural egg white.
- Bottled in April 2005.
Sensory tasting:
- Color: very high layer, cherry red with purple iridescence.
- Aromas: balsamic, very ripe fruit, well integrated with toasted wood.
- Palate: tasty, elegant, sweet tannins. Powerful and long.
