Reserva 2001
A tribute to the Carraovejas Valley
Reserva is a sincere tribute to the Carraovejas Valley and an elaboration that seeks to extol its origin in an outstanding way.
- Varieties: tinto fino (80%) and cabernet sauvignon (20%).
- Alcohol by volume: 14%
- Soils: lLimestone texture with red clays and white loams. Low granulometry and high water retention.
- Altitude: around 850 meters.
- Harvest: manual, in boxes 15 kg
Elaboratiom:
- Aging: 12 months in American and French oak barrels.
- Clarified with natural egg white.
- Bottled in April 2003.
Sensory tasting:
- Color: cherry red still with purple reflections. High intensity. Clean, bright and well presented.
- Aromas: powerful, with marked notes or nuts, hazelnut, almond… Very expressive sweet tones characteristic of the barrel.
- Palate: round, warm, unctuous, elegant and very enveloping. Long aftertaste and persistent aftertaste.
