Crianza 2009
The interpretation of Pago
A wine that is the truest reflection of its origin.
- Varieties: tinto fino (96%) and cabernet sauvignon (4%).
- Alcoholic by volume: 15%.
- Soils: limestone texture with red clays and white loams. Low granulometry and high water retention.
- Altitude: around 850 meters.
- Harvest: manual, in boees 15 kg.
Elaboration:
- Ageing: 12 months in French and American oak barrels.
- Clarified with natural egg whites.
- Bottled: March 2011.
Sensoty tasting:
- Color: Purple red with highlights of the same color. High robe.
- Aromas: Overripe wild berries balanced with sweet oak notes.
- Palate: Unctuous, round, opulent and persistent.
