Pago de Carraovejas received the ‘Óptima Castilla y León’ award in recognition of gender equality
- This award acknowledges the efforts made by the wine cellar to promote equality of opportunity for men and women, work-life balance and the removal of the salary gap between genders.
- This award is in addition to the “Great Place to Work” award given to Alma Carraovejas at the end of 2019.
The Ministry of Family and Equal Opportunities granted the “Óptima Castilla y León” award to Pago de Carraovejas to acknowledge gender equality of opportunity in the workplace promoted as a result of the implementation of a number of measures designed to guarantee equality of opportunity within the organisation. The implementation of these measures was integral and undertaken in the other wine cellars in the Alma Carraovejas group, as well as in the Ambivium Restaurant.
The “Óptima Castilla y León” award acknowledges companies who include work-life balance in their management model and organisation of human resources; as well as equal opportunities between men and women and the removal of the salary gap between genders. This award is in addition to the “Great Place to Work” award given to Alma Carraovejas at the end of 2019; certification as a “Company Responsible Towards Families (EFR in Spanish) with level of excellence A, and with regard to work-life balance; and certification for its Socially Responsible and Ethical Management System under SGE21 regulations.
