Official Communication from Alma Carraovejas: New measures with regard to COVID-19
As a result of the difficult and disturbing situation arising from increased number of COVID cases in Spain, Alma Carraovejas has decided to adopt a series of measures to help mitigate the spread of the virus. This decision was taken in accordance with our own internal security protocols, the recommendations of the health authorities and in the exercise of the responsibility that Alma Carraovejas has as a company with regard to society, where the focus is on people.
The most prominent measure and in accordance with our commitment in the fight against the pandemic, it will be priority option for all our teams to return to working remotely. This will involve the temporary suspension of non-essential in-person activities, so work will continue in the field and in the wine cellars corresponding to the following work centres: Pago de Carraovejas, SV Wines and Ambivium (Peñafiel, Valladolid); Ossian (Nieva, Segovia); Milsetentayseis (Aranda de Duero, Burgos); Viña Meín – Emilio Rojo (Leiro, Ourense) and our new project in Leza (Álava).
Due to perimeter lockdown in Castile-León, activity in our Ambivium Restaurant and Enotourism experiences has been temporarily suspended. The date for reopening both of these activities will depend on developments in the number of cases and following the guidelines provided by the health authorities.
Once again, these decisions have been taken with a view to taking maximum care of the health of all those involved in our value chain and calling on the maximum security and responsibility to be exercised by those who work for Alma Carraovejas, both individually and collectively.
We apologise for any inconvenience these measures may cause and hope that our activity will be able to return to normal as soon as this is possible.
Thank you very much.
